RAT Magazine is a new photographic publication that explores contemporary Scandinavian photography with a focus on materiality, experimental printing and scanning processes. The name RAT Magazine evokes associations of something raw, unrefined and perhaps even unwanted - a contrast to the often polished art and photography industry.
The first issue of RAT Magazine features the work of 12 Scandinavian artists. The contributors are:
Hanna Antonsson (SE), Max Barel (NO), Frida Lisa Carstensen Jersø (DK), Josefin Cedervall (SE), Eli Eli Eli (DK), Asta Falk (DK), Nicola Helin (DK), Sunniva Hestenes (NO), Ida Kaae (DK), Alva Le Febvre (SE), Henrik Wejfeldt (SE) and Alva Lundmark (SE).
