Sæt kryds i kalenderen! Sammen med Absalon på Vesterbro åbner vi dørene for årets sidste fotomarked den 8. november i Absalons farverige sal. Denne gang kan du udforske både skønne fotobøger og unikke fotokunstværker. Er du fotobogaktør eller fotograf, er det derfor nu, du kan ansøge om en stand.

Vi glæder os til at fylde salen med boder med alt fra ‘fundne fotografier’ til kunst- og dokumentarfotografi af etablerede fotografer og spirende talenter såvel som fotobøger af førende forlag og antikvarboghandlere. 

Markedet er alletiders mulighed for at møde fotografer og fotobogaktører til en snak om værkerne og finde ny kunst og bøger til vægge og reoler derhjemme – eller måske finde en tidlig julegave. Fotografer/bogaktører kan møde andre fotografer og aktører samt vise og sælge bog- og fotoværker til et bredt publikum – ved det seneste marked i marts var der ca. 1300 besøgende til markedet.

Der er som altid gratis entré til Absalon, og gode muligheder for at få en bid brunch eller kaffe i caféen i løbet af dagen. 

Vil du sælge?
Er du dokumentar- eller kunstfotograf, samler du på ‘fundne fotografier’ eller udgiver og formidler du salg af fotobøger professionelt? Så kan du nu tilmelde dig her. Deadline for at ansøge er senest 8. oktober. Du kan læse mere om markedet her. 

Vi opfordrer til, at man udvælger print fra ‘bagkataloget’, som fortjener et nyt liv, og at bøger såvel fotokunst ligger i en prisklasse, hvor de fleste kan være med – gerne under 1.000 kr. og max 5.000 kr.

Photo books and art in Absalon 8 November – apply for a stall now!

Mark your calendars! Together with Absalon in Vesterbro, we open the doors for the last photo market of the year on 8 November in Absalon’s colorful and cozy surroundings. This time you can explore both beautiful photo books and unique photo artworks. If you are a photo book artist or photographer, now is the time to apply for a stand.

We look forward to filling the hall with stalls with everything from ‘found photographs’ to art and documentary photography by established photographers and budding talents as well as photo books by leading publishers and second-hand booksellers.

The market is a great opportunity to meet photographers and photo book artists for a chat about the works and find new art and books for your walls and shelves at home – or maybe find an early Christmas present. 

Photographers/book artists can meet other photographers and artists as well as show and sell book and photo artworks to a wide audience – at the last market in March, there were approximately 1300 visitors to the market.

As always, there is free admission to Absalon, and good opportunities to have a bite of brunch or coffee in the café during the day.

Are you a documentary or art photographer, do you collect ‘found photographs’ or do you publish and mediate the sale of photo books professionally? Then you can now apply here. The deadline for applying is October 8th.

We encourage you to select prints from the ‘back catalogue’ that deserve a new life, and that books and photo art are in a price range where most people can participate – preferably under 1,000 DKK and max 5,000 DKK.

Please note

A stall costs 400 kr. for a table measuring 220x85cm. Chairs are included with the stall.

Set-up is possible from 8:00 am and arrival at 9:00 am at the latest. It is not possible to refund the stall.
