Eva-Teréz Gölin har i det seneste årti udforsket grænserne for det fotografiske medie gennem digitale processer og onlinebilleder. I udstillingen »Geometry of Time and Colour« præsenterer hun to værksserier, hvoraf den ene udelukkende bygger på motivernes farver og udelader de lysvariationer, der har været det fotografiske billedes fællesnævner siden mediets fødsel. Den anden serie består af portrætter udført med pigmentblæk på lysfølsomt sølvgelatinepapir i ufikseret tilstand. Papiret – og dermed billedet – kan derfor ses som værende i konstant forandring og allerede indeholdende en mulig fremtid.
Eva-Teréz Gölin has, for the past decade, been questioning the boundaries of the photographic medium through digital processes and online imagery. In the exhibition Geometry of Time and Colour, she presents two series of works, one of which is based solely on the colours of the motifs, omitting variations in light that have been the common denominator of photographic images since the birth of the medium. The other series consists of portraits rendered in pigment ink on light-sensitive silver gelatine paper in an unfixed state. The paper – and thus the image – can therefore be seen as being in constant transformation, already containing a possible future.
