På Dark Gallery CPH’s nye udstilling SUPERPOWER – Ghosts of the Atomic Age, sætter den ukrainske fotodokumentarist Oleksandr Martemianov spørgsmålstegn ved, om vi kan tæmme atomteknologien.

Copenhagen Photo Festival præsenterer årets endelige festivalprogram, der foruden adskillige fotoudstillinger byder på alt fra inspirerende talks og undersøgende paneldebatter til tankevækkende film og workshops, der sætter fokus på rewilding. Festivalen åbner med et kurateret grand opening-arrangement den 1. juni, mens World Press Photo-vinder Mads Nissen afrunder festivalen med årets sidste talk den 11. juni.

Copenhagen Photo Festival kan i dag offentliggøre det endelige udstillingsprogram med hovedtemaet rewilding. Et ambitiøst tema, der udfoldes på tværs af byen og festivalens partnere, der tæller alt fra Arken, Louisiana, Det Kongelige Bibliotek til Søfartsmuseet og Det Nationalhistorisk Museum m.fl.

Til juni blomstrer det bogstavelig talt med fotografier, når Nordens største fotofestival præsenterer årets seks solokunstnere, som hver især udforsker årets tema Rewilding.

Copenhagen Photo Festival presents the final festival program of the year, which, in addition to all the photo exhibitions, offers everything from inspiring talks and investigative panel debates to thought-provoking films and workshops that focus on rewilding. The festival opens with a curated grand opening event on 1 June, while three time World Press Photo winner Mads Nissen rounds off the festival with the last talk of the year on 11 June and unveiling of next year’s theme.

Copenhagen Photo Festival can today announce the final exhibition program with the overarching theme of ‘rewilding’. An ambitious theme that is brought into play across the Copenhagen region and at major institutions and galleries.

Inspired by the festival’s location in the urban wilderness at Beddingen on Refshaleøen and Copenhagen’s title as World Architecture Capital 2023, this year the festival has chosen one overall main theme, Rewilding which will be explored by this year’s six solo artists
