The Royal Danish Theatre – Gamle Scene

Throughout the halls of the Royal Danish Theatre we had exhibitions as well as talks, selectee screenings and markets. In connection with exploring the exhibitions among the grand scenery, the exhibitions extended out onto Kongens Nytorv and the canals around the city. 

VÆKST

At our own venue at Refshaløen we utilized the green outdoors and used this as an exhibition space. Both on the inside and outside of the containers were exhibitions of the Nordic photo schools, DMJX, KBH Film & Fotoskole and Oslo Fotokunstskole, our selected FUTURES photographers and the brand new initiative VÆKST Creatives who engaged the audience in photography amidst the containers with interdisciplinary events and performances.

Lille Mølle

At the beautiful old mill at Christianshavn, the festival hosted different workshops by this year’s solo artists and even a masterclass with Martin Parr. You could also join a collage workshop, Polaroid Transfer prints, cyanotype and large format camera. In addition to the workshops, you had the opportunity to get feedback on your photos at our portfolio review.

Along with all the events at the Royal Theatre, Lille Mølle and VÆKST, our partners also held exhibitions during the festival. You were able to join on gallery tours across the city to explore their photo exhibitions, as well as openings.
