Are you hosting an interesting photo exhibition in June 2024? Or maybe planning a photo book promotion, an artist talk with a well known photographer or an underground art event at an independent art space?

If so, we really want to invite you to become part of our festival in 2024, which aims at building bridges across photographic genres, institutions as well as the wide variety of stakeholders within the photographic field.

Being part of the festival, we will offer you targeted promotion for our international photo engaged audience as well as the opportunity to create new connections with other artists, curators and institutions within the field of photography and art.

As a close exhibition partner and part of CPF, you are the foundation for a versatile, high-quality festival programme that presents the many facets of photography to both connoisseurs and a wider, international cultural public.

Bespoke promotion

As a festival partner we promote your exhibition in close collaboration with you and expose your event on our various online platforms, newsletter and website with more than 35,000 photo engaged followers from all over the world.

15th anniversary

In 2024 you will be part of our 15th anniversary and be the first to break in new initiatives that will strengthen the Nordic photo scene and the promotion of the various photo exhibitions and events across Copenhagen.

Acknowledged by the public

Copenhagen Photo Festival was nominated ‘Byens Bedste Oplevelse’ in 2022 by the national Danish paper Berlingske and in 2023 the festival partner venues had a total visitor count of +44,000 across town.

What is it like to be exhibition partner at Copenhagen Photo Festival?

Passionate souls of photography

Oblong, Banja Rathnov Kunsthandel og Galleri, Disko Bay Books, Prospekt space and Dark gallery are some of the Copenhagen based spaces and publishers deeply involved in photography who have been part of the festival. In the video above they talk about their involvement and love for photography.

Martin Asbæk Gallery x CPF

Martin Asbæk Gallery in central Copenhagen has been part of the festival's exhibition programme for many years. Take a tour around the gallery in the video above and hear curator and head of communications Patricia Breinholm Bertram talk about the importance of the the galleries involvement with the festival.

Become a partner

How to apply

To become part of the festival programme all you need to do is fill out an application form and upload images and a description of your exhibition, talk or event.

Our programme committee will then select the exhibitions for the next edition of the festival. It is free to apply, but if you are selected we take a fee to promote your exhibition or event.
