OPEN CALL · VÆKST Creatives 2026 · EXTENDED DEADLINE 1 DECEMBER
Copenhagen Photo Festival invites you to apply to be part of our programme for the Nordic creatives at the Exhibition Park at Refshaleøen in 2026. With VÆKST we want to encourage cross-disciplinary engagement with photography at this festival venue in June 2026. The call for ‘VÆKST Creatives’ is open from 4 September to 1 December 2025.
The overarching festival theme of 2026 is: “Forestillinger / Scenarios”. We encourage creatives to engage with unknown agendas and unpredictable terrains — to find new paths and give space to playfulness and imperfection, where serendipity and new narratives can emerge.
Who can contribute?
We are looking for 3-5 projects to accompany, expand or challenge photography. The target groups for the proposal are creative emerging professionals from the Nordic region — groups, collectives or individuals.
Why should I participate?
As a VÆKST Creative you become part of CPF’s official program lineup, including widespread promotion and festival networking. Depending on your proposal, a contribution fee will be provided for materials and/or participation.
How do I apply?
To apply for VÆKST Creatives, you need to fill out the application form and pay a fee of DKK 100. Read more about the details and application process here.
