Experience visual artist Inuk Silis Høegh in conversation with sound artist Jacob Kirkegaard
During the filming of The Green Land, Inuk Silis Høegh invited sound artist Jacob Kirkegaard on board. He needed to leave the soundtrack to an artist who could challenge his preconceptions. And no one could do this better than Jacob Kirkegaard, who has recorded sound of everything from the ice cap, Trump's wall in Mexico, dead bodies and landfills.
But how did the collaboration between the artist, who is challenged by hearing loss, and the sound man, who sticks his microphone into the almost inaudible, go? And how do you find the right balance between visual and audio storytelling?
