Black Week is upon us and maybe you also feel the weight of consumerism on your shoulders? In that case we want to give you an art loving Black Friday alternative that can colour up the blackest week of the year!
As a special treat we have planned a classic two-for-one offer: you get to both support the arts (aka CPF) and you get free festival entrance at next year’s festival 1-11 June for just DKK 200. What a treat!

Like many cultural institutions and festivals we also face challenging times right now, and we hope for your support so we can keep exhibiting and promoting the art of photography in our region.
Every donation or ticket sold matter
Copenhagen Photo Festival is a small non-profit organisation which relies primarily on funding from private funds and the municipality of Copenhagen. So any contribution – via ticket sales or donations – makes the world to us and can help secure our work exhibiting exceptional photography as well as the organisation behind.
Any donation - even a small one – will help us keep up our work highlighting and exhibiting the best of international contemporary photography, promoting international and emerging photo artists and contributing to a strong photo scene in our region.

Exhibition space, artist studio or DJ venue?

Are you looking for a unique, alternative setting for your next event, exhibition, or workshop? Our festival playground and venue on Refshaleøen, FRAME, might be the perfect setting for you! We use the venue each year in June, but we think that it deserves to live all year and host many more spectacular events.
Flexible spaces at affordable prices
With the Copenhagen skyline as a backdrop, our venue FRAME and its surroundings are the perfect setting for a wide range of events. It is a multifunctional building that can be re-designed to meet your specific needs or used as it is for many purposes – from exhibition space, photo studio, film location, to DJ venue, workspace or dark room!
It is possible to rent just one room or up to four rooms inside FRAME at the moment – as well as the terrasse area and courtyard outside. The basic rental price is very affordable compared to other event spaces in Copenhagen and we will happily to forward you more material on the specific rooms or send you a quote for your specific event.

FRAME is a two-storey building, designed and built by the Copenhagen Photo Festival team via a sustainable and innovative process made of recycled shipping containers and is located on the former berth of the B&W shipyard for building large ship hulls. Its rooftop allows you to have a 360° view over Refshaleøen and Copenhagen.
It is located in the heart of Refshaleøen – Copenhagen’s new cultural hot spot – right in the sweet spot between Michelin-starred restaurant Alchemist, Copenhagen Contemporary, Lille Bakery and Reffen – Copenhagen Street Food.

VERDENSBERØMT OG AFKLÆDT MIDT I LUKSUS
Her møder du mange verdensberømte mennesker, som du aldrig har set dem før - Lady Gaga, The Beatles, Pamela Anderson, Nelson Mandela, Salvador Dali, Dronning Elizabeth II, Kong Carl XVI Gustaf, Madonna, Richard Gere, Jonas Gardell, Brigitte Bardot, Kendal Jenner og mange andre. Men der er også ukendte professionelle modeller i den klassiske genre af fotografering - nøgen undersøgelse.
Kunstens nøgenhed er ikke kun en skønhedsoplevelse, den har også spillet en væsentlig rolle i befrielsen fra censur og diktatur. Udstillingen viser mange eksempler på dette, ikke mindst bidragene fra nogle af de spændende kinesiske fotografer, der deltager. Over fyrre verdensberømte fotografer er repræsenteret i den nye udstilling. Deres billeder sælges på store auktioner og gallerier over hele verden, ofte til meget høje priser. Her er drømmende billeder af Mona Kuhn og Michel Dweck, spektakulære kompositioner af David LaChapelle, elegante portrætter skabt af Herb Ritts. Mode
og nøgenhed i kombination er mesterligt portrætteret af Camilla Åkrans, Anna W Thorbjörnsson, Bingo Rimér og Johan Lindeberg. Rock- og popstjerner er i fokus for billederne af Brian Duffy, Anton Corbijn og Harry Benson, mens kvinderne er afbildet af Jean-Baptiste Huyhn, Lucien Clergue,
Russell James, Tiane Doan na Champassak, Bruno Bisang og mange flere. Manden i centrum har Herb Ritts og Robert Mapplethorpe, nogle af de få
