Workshop in cyanotype for children
15. June 13:00 - 16:00
“How to take pictures with the sun?” – workshop for kids
For this workshop we don’t need a camera…but we need the sun!
If you are curious about how to do this, come with your kid(s) and we will teach them how to create a cyanotype – a photograph created with the sun.
You can come and stay with your kid(s) during the workshop if you would like.
We propose you and your kid(s) to bring some magazines, some objects that you would like to recycle in a piece of art (it can be anything such as a toy, a plastic bottle, a plastic bag / glove, string) or some flowers, plants or leaves…use your imagination!
The objects just need to be small enough to go on an A4 paper (21 x 29,7 cm) and to be flat enough to fit between a sheet of paper and a glass board. We will also bring some things for you.
As a part of the exhibition ‘Encounters – Nordic Photography Beyond Borders’, we will present Nanna Debois Buhl’s series ‘Building Block’. The artist works with cyanotypes and we will look at these prints for inspiration. Then you will be able to create your own cyanotype with the help of Ida and Astrid, team members of Fotografisk Center.
We provide drinks and snacks.
