Copenhagen Photo Festival?

We are a small, but ambitious organisation, who are located in Villa Kultur at Østerbro. The vision is to strengthen our ability to consider photography as a form of expression, and we daily work to become an all-year platform that curates, debates, engages and informs. This means that we embrace many areas of work. And at us you will get a chance to put your touch on the realisation of the biggest photography event in Scandinavia.

Do you have a background in communications, media, art history/visual culture or another project-oriented field? Are you responsible, structured and can you handle many different projects at the same time? Then maybe you should become part of the team at Copenhagen Photo Festival.

Unsolicited applications

If you are looking to become and intern og work as a volunteer at the festival, we are happy to receive unsolicited applications. At Copenhagen Photo Festival you will have the possibility to gain knowledge about event planning, communicating culture, exhibition design, communication, social media, video and photography. As part of our team you will havethe chance to put your own touch on the realisation of a big cultural event with several collaborators and a long list of events and activities. You will gain hands-on-experience with event- and exhibition planning and you will be able to participate in larger projects in the future.

You will be able to test your academic knowledge and/or educational background in a practical and creative context. You will get insight to the photography and art world as well as an international cultural environment.
