JOIN OUR TEAM
Copenhagen Photo Festival is always happy to connect with creative people who want to develop their skills in culture, art, and event production. As an intern, volunteer or project employee at CPF, you have the opportunity to refine your skills and competencies within art and culture and become part of an inspiring team in the heart of Copenhagen.

Do you want to become a part of the largest photography festival in the Nordic region, dedicated to showcasing contemporary photography through exhibitions, talks, and events?
Every June, the festival creates a vibrant meeting place in Copenhagen where photography and visual storytelling take center stage. A unique space for dialogue, inspiration, and discovery—bringing together emerging and established artists, industry professionals, and photography enthusiasts.
Whether you’re a student, professional or simply curious about photography, visual arts or cultural events, your contribution will help shape a diverse program that brings new perspectives to documentary, fine art, conceptual, and experimental photography—making Copenhagen a dynamic hub for contemporary visual storytelling.
We are a small passionate team that works year-round to create an inspiring festival programme about photography
Our team is as diverse as the festival itself—an international mix of professionals from fields like photography, visual arts, event production, and marketing. Just like our artists and audiences, we come from different backgrounds, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the table.
We thrive on creativity, collaboration, and a shared love for photography and culture. Joining our team, you’ll become a part of a welcoming, dynamic environment where your input is valued, your ideas can take shape, and where there’s always room for both creative exchange and a bit of fun.
Our office is located in Østerbro, Copenhagen.

Each year we welcome interns enrolled in higher education programmes or recently graduated to our team on an ongoing basis. As an intern we offer projects within communication, arts or art history, cultural management, event production, photojournalism, performance design and related fields. All our internships are unpaid.
If you want to become one of our Interns for the Autmn 2026, you can click the button below and submit your application until the 15th of April 2026.
You are welcome to send us an unsolicited application for a job. However, as we are a small non-profit organisation, we rarely offer full time positions. If you are looking for project employments within the cultural field, you are welcome to send your CV and a cover letter, and we will contact you if a relevant position comes up.
Help make the festival come to life! Every year in June we welcome between 80-100 volunteers. As a volunteer, you are a valuable member of our community and can get a fun and enriching experience within exhibition production, service, sales, media, and event coordination and connect with others within the cultural field.
