ARTIST TALK with Sanne De Wilde

 In Portrait, Video

The Belgian photographer and World Press Photo winner Sanne De Wilde talks to CPF’s Patricia Breinholm Nielsen about her project ‘rubICONe’, which is a series of portraits of iconic people in the Italian town of Savignano sul Rubicone. De Wilde visited this town during her residency in Italy as part of the Reconstruction of Identities project. These portraits, which are accompanied by a series of details, aim to capture the local identity of the Italian town. Sanne De Wilde is part of the NOOR Foundation.

Reconstruction of Identities is a collaborative project between four partners across Europe working with photography: Ad Hoc Gestión Cultural, the Municipality of Savignano sul Rubicone – SI FEST, NOOR Foundation and Copenhagen Photo Festival. The project is co-founded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
