THE OFFICIAL CPF EXHIBITION PROGRAMME
The Official CPF Exhibition Programme is for institutions, photographers and visual artists interested in becoming part of Copenhagen Photo Festival’s programme of 2021 – and who have their own space available. As part of The Official CPF Exhibition Programme, you will be part of the festival’s communication and mediation strategy and get the chance to meet important actors within the Scandinavian photo and art scene.
In order to be part of The Official CPF Exhibtion Programme, you must present a photo exhibition in the festival period. Both established as well as alternative venues, such as cafées, libraries, culture houses etc., can apply. You can also apply as a photographer and/or visual artists, but Copenhagen Photo Festival cannot provide a location for you. The exhibition can exceed the festival period, but should be open between June 3-13 2021.
As an exhibition partner you are invited to different events during the festival, where you get the chance to meet important actors from the Scandinavian photo and art scene as well as international photographers and visual artists. You will also be part of the festival’s strategy for mediation and communication via our programme, ads, press and social channels.
In 2021 our festival centre will again be located at Refshaleøen, while the festival’s Official Exhibition Programme will be spread out over most of Copenhagen and Southern Sweden. The Official CPF Exhibition Programme and our exhibition partners are all part of creating a versatile programme presenting the many facets of photography to both connoisseurs and the general public – as well as bulding bridges between both genres and institutions.

Participation – what does it cost and what is the money spent on?
To apply to apply to participate in Copenhagen Photo Festival there is a mandatory submission fee of 150 DKK excl. VAT. This fee contributes to the coordination and the administrative costs related to handle the application and the following dialogue with the individual applicants.
If you are selected for the official festival programme we ask for a participation contribition of 1250 DKK excl. VAT for established exhibition places and institutions.

The application process
Applications are done digitally by filling out an application form:
- Pay the submission fee in our online shop and receive an order number.
- After paying you will receive an email that gives you access to a drive with your own folder, where you can upload your material.
- All the material needs to be uploaded before the deadline.
- The applications are reviewed and selected by our programme committee.
- The selected exhibitions will be contacted shortly after the decision has been made.

Dispensation is given to one person applicants who are financing an exhibition themselves. In these circumstances the participation contribution is 350 DKK excl. VAT.
The participation contribution helps cover the festival’s costs in relation to PR and marketing. With our PR- and marketing efforts we work to promote the festival as a brand and the individual exhibitions.
