CPF Celebrating Photography Day

The 18th of June 2020 was CPF Celebrating Photography Day, the culmination of these past months campaign #cpfcelebratingphotography.

We presented in the public space the exhibitions Reconstructions of Identity at Vesterbro and FRAMES on FRAME at Refshaløen and a pop-up print on demand sale accompanied by an open bar and the best vibes from the DJ in Werkstatt on Reffen.

We want to thank all of you who made the day happen, those of you who came to join us as well as to the festival’s sponsors, collaborators and all the amazing artists from all over the world.

YOU CAN STILL MAKE IT …

Reconstruction of Identities will be presented at Vesterbro until July 10th.

FRAMES on FRAME at Refshaleøen will be available until October 1st and on our website, where you can get access to more information about the artists, the full series of works, and extra content such as the artists’ own soundbites and videos introducing the works.

Get an overview of all exhibitions in Copenhagen by using our interactive map.

It is also still possible to buy a print from our CPF_FOR YOU X ATLA  print on demand sale.

And last but not least, our campaign #cpfcelebratingphotography will also continue until the end of the month.

About the interactive map

Our festival was cancelled this year due to Covid-19. But the city is opening up again, so with some friends we are celebrating and sharing photography with you around the City of Copenhagen.

  • Experience our installation along Sdr. Boulevard 49 and 101 and Skjalm Hvides Gade 3, in collaboration with Altan.dk (until end of June)
  • Visit our partner galleries and satellite exhibitors
  • Come and see our outdoor intervention on Refshaleøen at our exhibition park (from June 18th till September 2020).
  • And on the way stop off at some of our favourite cafés along the way

The Interactive Map has been created hand in hand with Donkey Republic. Donkey Republic works to make cycling the default mode of transportation for as many as possible by giving easy and affordable access to great city bikes. We thought cycling would still be one of the safest and most efficient ways of getting around during the Photo Festival. It’s a great way to  shake off the long weeks of lockdown, get out, get some fresh air, be active, enjoy beautiful art in our city. And while you are already in explore mode why not plan a stop or two and support the countless local businesses too!

Thanks to our friends at Donkey Republic, you can now ride 3 hours for free. Use the code CPF2020.
