German photographer Barbara Probst challenges photography’s status as a truthful representation of reality. Her work deals with the essence of photography as a media.
Barbara Probst lives and works in New York City and Munich. Since the 1990’s photography has been her primary form of expression.
Throughout her career Probst has focused on exploring the photographic medium and has sought to challenge the traditional photographic expression presenting only one perspective and onerepresentation of reality.
The exhibition is open at The National Museum of Photography till January 11th 2014.
